The first post is dedicated to building a wood wheelbarrow.
Measurements
Width: 95cm
Length: 96cm
Materials
Wood (I used leftovers from a remodeled home that went to waste)
Nails
4 Headless screws
4 Nuts
2 Bicycle tires
1 Metal Bar
2 Metal clamps
Steps
Base and handles in rough, ready to be worked.
Detail of fixing clamps for not allowing the legs to wiggle.
Details of fitting the “legs”.
Shrunken legs for easy transport, and left the bar clamps.
Details axis: The nut was welded inside the metal bar, allowing to be screwed on wheels.
Detail of the sides: I needed to transport the wheelbarrow, so the sides had to be removable and I added a slack to fit the sides
It is just missing one (or more) resting foot that this version doe not includes.
With a wheelbase of 1m withstands more than 60kg. What makes the difference is the bar that needs to be strong and the shorter the wheelbase, the more wight it will hold.
If you want something more permanent, you can follow these plans and make the sides higher and fixed such as this ornamental cart:
